This is an ad I recently created to announce a new partnership. The building is not the prettiest, but given that we had no time, and Tim took the photo with his Canon SLR while I was double parked in front of a construction site, I think it turned out just great.

Before the issue of the Washington Business Journal even arrived in our lobby, my phone was ringing off the hook from reps at other publications wanting to know why we aren't advertising with them. I guess the ad, at least partially, did what it was intended to do--to get our name out there.
